"We recently asked Stephen Degenkolb (Kingfisher Decor) to repair and paint our shop front. Not only did he come in under his original very reasonable quote but also provided us with an itemised invoice including all the receipts and a separate invoice for hours worked (he actually deducted time when he stopped to have a sandwich). Stephen's work was excellent. He arrived at 6.30 am each day so as to ensure he finished any work above and around the entrance to our shop before we opened at 9.00 am and always stopped work to allow customers access to our shop without being covered in dust when sanding down and erected dust sheets to stop dust going on to our neighbouring shops displays. He painted our shop front from top to bottom very accurately and redid our shop name in old English script beautifully (this was also included in the price – signwriting is something that not many painter/decorators will undertake). Stephen always arrived on time and suggested little fine touches to enhance the look of our shop. After having been let down by painters in the past, Stephen has restored our faith that good, honest painter/decorators that take pride in their work do exist.  We would have no hesitation in recommending Stephen Degenkolb – Kingfisher Decor to anyone."
