I’m very happy to recommend Stephen Degenkolb as a skilled and efficient decorator. In June 2017 he painted the exterior of my Grade II listed house, The Barn, London Road, Halesworth, including walls, plinth and woodwork. The work was completed to a high standard with care and attention to detail. When small problems arose, as they inevitably do in a project on this scale, he dealt with them quickly and efficiently, and where decisions needed to be made, he explained the options clearly. The work was completed on time, and the finished result was very pleasing; several people walking by stopped to tell me how well it looked. 

I would recommend Stephen as an extremely well-organised professional. He scheduled the work well in advance, produced an accurate and detailed estimate, and clearly documented weekly invoices. He was at all times helpful and courteous, and extremely pleasant to deal with.

 Decorators Note:

This was an interesting project to work on as not many people prefer to have one colour to cover all parts of the building.  This Judith did as it was her wish to keep the building as inconspicuous as possible in keeping to the barns history, that being, just a barn.  I found Judith was a delight to work for and as a keen gardener I was also well supplied with gooseberries.
